How the Watford players spent Christmas Day

The Watford players prepared for the Chelsea game tomorrow by training for an hour at London Colney this morning.

Training on Christmas Day will have been a new experience for players like Sebastian Prödl who has always had a winter break throughout his career. The squad trained at 9.30am, an hour earlier than usual, and went through the team shape and plan for one final time before Quique Sanchez Flores named the team to face the champions. The players then went home to their families before reconvening this evening at the team hotel.
